How to Complete the Conflict of Interest Form - Managers
Before you Start:
You will need a computer or tablet with internet to log in to Workday on your internet browser (Microsoft Edge, Google Chrome, Firefox, Safari, etc).
Conflict of Interest Form for Managers
Step 1: Open your internet browser (Microsoft Edge, Google Chrome, Firefox, Safari, etc) and log in to myStevens.
Under the My Apps, find and select Workday to open your Workday homepage.
Step 2: As a Manager, once your employees have completed their questionnaires and submitted their acknowledgments you will find the following task on your Homepage and in your Inbox. Click the Edit Worker Additional Data Event task to review the Employee's Conflict of Interest submission.
Step 3: On this new page, you will need to review the information submitted by the employee and select Approve (or Send Back to the employee for revisions, if necessary).
Step 4: Once you have approved, a window will pop up to take you to the next steps. Select the Review Documents button to go to the Manager's Attestation questionnaire.
If you missed or left this window, you can go back to the Workday homepage, and go to your Awaiting your Action to find the task.
Step 5: On the page to Complete Questionnaire for the Manager's Attestation, fill out the questions for your direct report.
- Upon review, if you determine that a direct report has an actual, perceived, or possible conflict of interest, you are responsible for providing a conflict management plan to manage, reduce, or eliminate the conflict.
- Once you've provided an answer to the questionnaire, select the Submit button.
You have now successfully completed the Conflict of Interest form process.
Viewing a Direct Report's COI Disclosure Form from the Previous Year
Step 1: Type "My Conflict of Interest Responses" into the Workday search bar.
Step 2: Click the View Questionnaire Response link for a given worker to view comments from previous years.
Reviewing Comments if a Mitigation Plan is Sent Back
If the Internal Audit team sends a mitigation plan back for additional review and/or edits, you will see a Conflict of Interest item in your inbox that says Sent Back.
Step 1: Select the inbox item, and click on the gear icon in the upper right corner. From the drop-down items, select View Details.
Step 2: From the following screen, select Process.
Step 3: From this screen, you can view the comments from the Internal Audit team in the right-hand column.
