How to Approve a Requisition
An approver will receive an approval request in their Workday Actions when a requisition is submitted by a user that falls within their Organization’s Cost Center. The first approver would be the Cost Center Manager.
Please note that once they approve the document, it will route to anyone else in the document's workflow. This may vary by dollar amount.
Step 1: From the Workday home screen, open your Awaiting Your Action section.

Step 2: Select the Requisition from your action that you want to review by clicking on the line-item link. This will open the Requisition details.

Step 3: Review the Requisition details for accuracy e.g., items ordered, quantity, costs, cost center being used.

Step 4: After reviewing the document, if everything is in order, select the Approve button.
If additional information is needed, the document can be sent back by selecting the Send Back button.
If the document is rejected, select the Deny button.
