Dune Security
Dune Security is Stevens cybersecurity awareness and training platform. Dune will help protect Steven from cyber threats by improving our ability to recognize and respond to phishing attempts, social engineering, and other security risks.
How to Access Dune
Visit myStevens and log in with your Stevens credentials. From the myStevens home page, click on the Dune tile.

Phishing Simulations
- Users will receive phishing simulations in their Stevens Outlook inbox to test their security awareness
- The messages will look like real Stevens messages and may:
- Urgently ask you to click a link or download an attachment
- Request sensitive information, such as login credentials
- Impersonate trusted individuals or services
- Be sure to use the "Report Phishing" button or forward the email to security@stevens.edu
Security Training
- Users will be asked to participate in security training to improve Stevens' security posture

Training is brief and engaging to focus on real-world scenarios
- Recognize phishing emails
- Secure handling of sensitive information
- Multi-factor authentication (MFA) best practices
- Social engineering tactics and prevention
User Risk Score

Each user has a risk score based on their interactions with phishing simulations and training completion status
- Risk scores increase when users click on phishing simulation links, enter Stevens credentials, or MFA codes to fake login pages
- Risk scores decrease when users identify and report phishing emails and complete assigned training modules
- The score will help personalize your learning experience and strengthen Stevens security posture
